Harry Charie H1- 1930 - 2016, died at his home in Bedford after a short illness.
 
Almost all of the research into the Charie family was done by Harry.
 
Those with an interest in the Charie name will be forever in his debt.

Alfred Richard (Dick) Charie G7 celebrated his 100th birthday at Comox,
 
Vancouver Island, B.C., thus, according to our records, becoming the first male

Freedom of the City of London Admission Papers, show Dennis Lewis (C7), one
 
of the early Charie Jewellers, was in 1829, awarded The Freedom through The
 
Company of Clockmakers and five years later, introducing an apprentice.
